Anatoly Aksakov, head of the State Duma Committee on the financial market, last week said the Bank of Russia and the Ministry of Finance agreed on the final version of the bill on the legalization of crypto mining.
The day before, the same deputy did not rule out that by the end of 2022 the Russian parliament could approve the regulatory framework for miners. It should be noted that the discussions on individual issues are still ongoing.
The authors of the bill have paid special attention to the analysis of energy capacities. The parliament can support the initiative of supporters of the legalization of mining only in certain regions of our country.
According to Aksakov, it is necessary to allow mining cryptocurrency only in those regions of Russia where there is a surplus of electricity.
