Anatoly Aksakov, head of the State Duma Committee on the financial market of Russia, said last week that by the end of the year, deputies could adopt a bill on mining.
The Bank of Russia and the Ministry of Finance of the country have earlier agreed on the final version of the document. However, it has become known that the deadline for the adoption of the bill on mining could be shifted to 2023.
The Financial Market Committee has addressed the Parliament with a recommendation to reject this document after the first reading. It was previously submitted to the lower house of parliament by a group of deputies from the New People faction.
