Bitget has recently been granted a Bitcoin Service Provider (BSP) License in El Salvador, marking a significant milestone in its expansion strategy into new markets.
With the country actively seeking new opportunities for growth, this license aligns with both Bitget’s and El Salvador’s future growth targets. The BSP License gives Bitget the ability to provide a range of services, including Bitcoin to fiat exchange, payment facilitation, and secure custody solutions within El Salvador.
The company is also pursuing additional licenses to offer similar services for different cryptocurrencies. Min Lin, the Chief Business Officer of Bitget, stated, “Latin America holds tremendous potential as a hub for crypto innovation, and El Salvador is leading the way with its bold decision to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender.
Acquiring the BSP license is a significant regulatory achievement for Bitget, and we are committed to driving the region’s growth by offering secure, accessible, and cutting-edge Bitcoin services.” Additionally, Bitget has its sights set on expanding into other markets in South America and North America.
