Mudrex Pauses Withdrawals

Indian cryptocurrency exchange Mudrex has temporarily suspended crypto withdrawals until January 28th to facilitate an upgrade of its compliance suite. This upgrade is intended to enhance security measures and prevent misuse by malicious actors.

Alankar Saxena, Founder and Chief Trading Officer at Mudrex, announced the temporary withdrawal suspension via an X post on January 12th. While crypto withdrawals are currently unavailable, the platform continues to allow INR withdrawals.

Mudrex emphasizes that this temporary measure is crucial for strengthening its compliance framework. The company is committed to serving its investors and ensuring unrestricted access to their funds as soon as the upgrade is complete.

Saxena highlighted Mudrex’s consistent service delivery in recent years, emphasizing that the platform has never previously halted deposits or withdrawals, even during periods of disruption faced by other Indian cryptocurrency companies.
