According to a beta version of the CME Group’s website, futures trading for XRP and Solana is expected to go live on Feb. 10, pending regulatory approval.
This news was shared by Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart, who speculated that it makes sense for CME to launch these futures.
The staging subdomain of the website also mentioned the launch of SOL and XRP futures on Feb. 10, offering both standard and micro-sized contracts for traders to manage risk with more precision.
Along with monthly, financially-settled futures, the contracts will also have BTIC and block functionality available from the start.
