Cathie Wood, CEO of Ark Invest, considers Bitcoin to be one of the most crucial and secure investment opportunities. In early January, Ark Invest, in collaboration with 21Shares, launched a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF).
On CNBC, Wood stated that her company is actively working towards expanding the infrastructure for cryptocurrencies. She believes that BTC is the backbone of the emerging global financial system and is essential to the overall functioning of the internet network.
Wood also criticized prominent financiers Jamie Dimon and Peter Schiff for their negative comments about investing in cryptocurrency.
According to Wood, these individuals do not fully comprehend the concept of BTC and fail to recognize its long-term potential as an asset.
Wood also pointed out that Bitcoin has already surpassed the size of cloud storage systems created by major companies like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft over the past 15-20 years.
