Kraken has recently obtained a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) registration from the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) in order to expand into Europe.
This means that the digital asset company now has the legal ability to offer its top industry products to residents in the Netherlands.
According to Kraken, the Dutch market is crucial for their growth in Europe. Brian Gahan, Kraken’s Managing Director for Europe, sees this license as a sign that their European growth strategy is gaining momentum.
This license will not only benefit Kraken, but also provide an opportunity to attract both individual and institutional investors in the Netherlands and across Europe.
In Gahan’s words, “Kraken offers a competitive and constantly expanding service, making it a top choice for both current and new crypto investors.”
