Bug in Smart Contract of NFT Project AkuDreams Causes $34 Million of Losses

An error in the smart contract of the NFT project AkuDreams has led to the loss of $34 million.

Due to an error by the AkuDreams team, the Dutch auction of the NFT project ended with the loss of user funds. Over 11,539 ETH were permanently locked in the smart contract.

AkuDreams Developers Say They Will Compensate User Losses (0.5 ETH for each victim). The refund will be made on Monday or Tuesday – for this, the project treasury reserve will be used.

In March, an unknown person stole $790,000 from the owners of the Rare Bears NFT collection.
