April was the fourth consecutive month of global crypto ATM installation slowdown, as evidenced by data from Coin ATM Radar.
Most devices appeared in August 2021: 2,037 units. This happened against the backdrop of the upcoming legalization of Bitcoin in El Salvador. At press time, there are 204 ATMs in the country.
In December, 1,969 machines were installed in the world, and since January 2022, the indicator began to decline: 1,687 new ATMs appeared this month, in February:970, in March 757 and in April 739.
There are currently 37,052 devices in the world.
The top 10 leading operators operate more than half of the operating Bitcoin ATMs (69.9%).
