Cryptocurrency platform Amber Group is negotiating with investors about new funding. As a result, the company’s valuation could rise to $10 billion, Bloomberg has reported citing its own sources.
In February, the Singapore-based company raised $200 million as part of the Series B+ investment round at a $3 billion valuation.
Announcing the deal, Amber Group CEO Michael Wu noted the organization plans to conduct an initial public offering in 2023, most likely on one of the US stock exchanges. According to him, before that, the company may conduct another funding round.
Amber Group offers a wide range of products for institutional and retail investors, including market maker services, trading services, investment tools and DeFi infrastructure.
