NiceHash developers have bypassed Nvidia’s mining limiter on parts of the RTX 30 LHR series graphics cards.
Using the QuickMiner utility, the project experts have restored the full performance of most GPUs with the exception of the GeForce RTX 3050 and GeForce RTX 3080 12 GB, which use the new LHR algorithm.
Several third-party testers have confirmed the functionality of the utility. After unlocking all its potential, the RTX 3080 Ti performance reached almost 117 MH/s instead of the previously available 80 MH/s.
So far, the method only works on Windows computers and supports the only Dagger Hashimoto (Ethash) algorithm.
