Russian Users Won’t Be Allowed to Use Crypto Services in EU

The European Union is working on a series on sanctions aimed at banning Russian users from accessing cryptocurrency services.

According to the sanctions, citizens and companies from Russia will not be able to use the services and crypto exchanges that are registered in the eurozone.

The EU authorities have approved a new sanctions package containing clauses that prohibit Russians from using crypto wallets and trading platforms for carrying out transactions with digital assets.

As part of the sanctions, Brussels is canceling the limit of 10,000 euros which has been in effect since April. Now Russian citizens will not be able to make transactions with cryptocurrencies in the eurozone at all and all their accounts will be banned.
