Cathy Wood, head of management company ARK Invest, has spoken about her expectations regarding the capitalization of BTC.
She has predicted the figure to rise to $4.5 trillion. It was then that Wood asked renowned economist Arthur Laffer to study the digital gold white paper.
The CEO of ARK Invest was interested in the prospects of Bitcoin as a unit of account, a store of value and circulation. Laffer spoke positively about the first cryptocurrency:
“I’ve been looking for this ever since we went off the gold standard. Bitcoin is a rule-based monetary system.”
Laffer has also compared the prospects for capitalization of digital gold with the size of the US monetary base.
