The capitalization of the stablecoin Binance USD (BUSD) has risen sharply since the beginning of autumn.
The asset, which is pegged to the US dollar, was launched by Binance in September 2019.
Over the past few years, the stablecoin’s supply has reached $21.635 billion, according to analyst Frank Chaparro.
CoinGecko data shows that BUSD provides about 15% of the capital accumulated in the stablecoin market.
The total supply of all fiat-backed digital currencies currently exceeds $147 billion.
The first and second places in the rating of stablecoins are held by Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC), respectively.
