Crypto.com has recently launched a crypto custody service, called the Crypto.com Custody Trust Company, which is specially designed for institutions and high-net-worth individuals in the US. This marks a significant step in the company’s expansion into the US market.

The chartered trust, announced on December 23, will provide secure management of digital assets, and customers from the US and Canada will be able to transfer their holdings to the platform in the upcoming weeks.

CEO Kris Marszalek emphasized the importance of the US and Canada as crucial markets for cryptocurrency and reiterated the company’s commitment to growth in these regions. To strengthen its presence in the US, Crypto.com has actively pursued various efforts.

In December, Marszalek met with then-President-elect Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago to discuss potential crypto regulatory policies. On the same day, the company dropped its lawsuit against the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), showing a willingness to collaborate with the authorities on regulatory frameworks.
